Overview

SumWize is a suite of free financial calculators operated by SumWize Calculators. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed SumWize to be private by default: the calculators run entirely in your browser, and the numbers you type into them are not transmitted to us or stored on our servers.

Information we collect

Calculator inputs. Values you enter into a calculator are processed locally in your browser to show your result. They are not sent to SumWize and are not saved after you leave the page.

Analytics data. We may use a privacy-conscious analytics service to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited and general device and country information. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

Contact form. If you email us or submit a contact form, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, and message, so we can respond.

How we use information

We use aggregate analytics to improve our content and performance, and we use contact information solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not serve advertising on SumWize.

Cookies and similar technologies

SumWize uses minimal cookies or local browser storage only where needed for basic functionality and, if enabled, aggregate analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them will not prevent the calculators from working.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of service providers, which may include a hosting and content-delivery provider, an analytics provider, and a form-handling provider for our contact form. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy practices.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain processing. Because we store very little personal data, most requests relate to contact-form correspondence. To make a request, email us at [email protected].

Children's privacy

SumWize is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
